I would be very interested in a networking group that does not charge high joining fees. A few hundred pounds to a new small business is a lot when you are starting up with no financial backing.
The Best of Neath is great as it has low costs in comparison to many networking groups, but there is always room for more.

I like the idea of small groups rather than 1 on 1s, if that is the difference that Nigel mentions. And any improvement in the cash flow dynamics of good networking has to be good for the smaller or startup businesses.

This looks interesting. I'm up for any new ideas. I'm currently working on a networking network that'll be a bit like 4networking without the initial investment that can be carried out locallty anywhere worldwide and were members can visit. Costs are likely to be £25-£50 per annum to cover admin plus £15 per meeting to cover costs and time of local organiser.

I've started a new site earlier today so go to www.localbusinessnetworking.ning.com. I'm going to test the market.

I have recently been working with a networking group in the Reading area and we have developed a different type of networking. A little discussion followed by a switch of tables. This is similar to a system I worked with a few years ago in Lloyds TSB.

If anyone wants to work on an event to share this successful networking style please let me know.
